Last night, I looked at my Filofax to see what I had on tap for the upcoming week. I was pretty excited to see that I don’t have court at all this week! (I promise I do actually like being a lawyer. But I also like easy weeks.)
So that means no neutral nails for me! This Essie polish is one of my favorites. The company describes it as “a creamy, juicy fuchsia,” which is pretty accurate. But “creamy” applies more to the application than the finish; this is a very shiny polish. I topped it with Seche Vite Dry Fast Top Coat, but it was plenty shiny on its own.
For me, the visibility of the inevitable chips is really the only downside to wearing a bold color like this. Chipped nail polish is one of my pet peeves, and as soon as one nail looks bad, I remove all of it. That’s why I love shellac nails so much, but it’s hard to justify the $25 when I own so many nail polishes already and can just apply them for free.
Essie Bachelorette Bash: highly recommended. Shiny, juicy, berry fun.
